Dorian is a sweet boy looking for the perfect forever home.
Dorian was imported to the US from France as a top show prospect. An unfortunate situation has made it necessary to find him a forever home as a pet. He was staying in a home with another dog that attacked and injured him severely. He has been rehabilitated, but for his comfort we are choosing a calm and stable home with no potential risk of a repeat of his previous situation. For this reason we are declining home with male dogs or large dominant females. We also will decline homes with small children.
Dorian is a sweet and outgoing boy that is still young and full of life. His injuries have healed and the main scar is that his front lower teeth have been removed. He can eat dry food, but for this reason and his confidence we don't think he needs to be around any dogs that might cause him to ever need to defend himself. It would simply not be fair to him. He would probably not feel safe at a dog park or any place like a day care where he would be loose with dogs that could harm him.
He would have plenty of energy to play with older more mature children that can act responsibly around a pet. He would make a great friend to a female with a docile temperament. He would be a great jogging or hiking partner. He could handle a relaxed or busy lifestyle so long as he gets playtime and exercise and is always included in the life and activities of his family.
Dorian is a beautiful dog that is large in size. He will need to be an indoor dog and be fed a premium quality dog food. He will be placed to the right home with the right references on a contract with a placement fee.
Dorian has been neutered. He is microchipped. He is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. He has an OFA hip and elbow score of Excellent. Dorian would do fine being shipped though we of course would love for someone to come pick him up.
